About the organiser
Das Haus der Computerspiele (The House of Computer Games) is the touring exhibition run by Rene Meyer (Leipzig), with around 30,000 exhibits — consoles, home computers, games and magazines.
Meyer has organised the retro area at gamescom since 2009 as a shared stand for collectors, associations, musicians and developers; its roots go back to the Games Convention 2002 in Leipzig.
It operates under Die Schreibfabrik, Meyer's publishing house founded in 1992, which also runs the cheat database MogelPower.
