retrofinder has just launched. A lot already works, some things are still in progress. So you know what you can rely on and what not yet, here’s both side by side for each role.
For visitors
Today
- Browse all approved events, with map, filters and search
- Search venues, forums and organisers
- Add an event to your own calendar
- Sign up for the event alert and confirm the sign-up by mail
Planned
- Sending the event alert itself — signing up already works, nothing is sent out yet
- Choosing what you’re notified about — radius, particular organisers, particular systems
- A watchlist for events you want to keep track of
For organisers
Today
- Sign in without a password, via a link by email
- Change title, description, source link, admission and opening hours for your own, already listed events
- Requirement: your account must first be linked to your organiser listing — the editorial team still does that by hand
Planned
- Add new events yourself instead of having to report them
- Identify yourself as an organiser and get activated without going through the editorial team
- Maintain your own master data and event series
For dealers, museums and arcade operators
Today
- Your listing is currently created by the editorial team — if you’d like one, or have changes, get in touch via Get involved
Planned
- Maintain your own listing yourself — opening hours, range, buying and repairs, photos
- Add your own events such as special openings or flea markets
