About the organiser
The Atari Bit Byter User Club e.V. (ABBUC) is a registered association dedicated to preserving and promoting Atari 8-bit computers.
It runs annual competitions for games, applications, hardware and creative works, operates a public domain mail order service, publishes a quarterly club magazine, and is represented with exhibitions at retro events.
Through regional groups, further meetups take place across Germany; once a year, usually at the end of October, the association invites members to its annual general meeting with a user gathering in Herten.
