POLARIS Convention 2026

Large pop culture convention at the Hamburg Messe grounds, held annually since 2022, covering gaming, anime, manga, cosplay, tabletop and the German creator scene. Two areas matter for retro fans: • Retro flea market: around 100 sales tables run by some 15 traders, hardware and software from Game Boy and GameCube to Atari VCS and Xbox, plus vintage merchandise. In 2026 it runs on all three days for the first time and moves to the upper floor of hall B2. • Retro exhibition: exhibits and playable stations stepping back through 50 years of video game history in five-year intervals, with 2026 marking the round anniversaries (50 years of the Saba Videoplay, 45 years of Donkey Kong, 35 years of Sonic, 25 years of Xbox). Venue: halls B1 to B4 and B7.
